Access violation due to stack overflow

Jul 20, 2012 at 10:52 AM

I am using R.Net for some time now. It works very well for small sized data. I am using the latest source code for my work. For large number of loops I use

engine.Evaluate("rm(list=ls())");
engine.ForceGarbageCollection();
System.GC.Collect();

avoid access violation error but when the single iteration is big enough with huge amount of data, I get access violation error. I think we should have stack size allocation option when we initialize the engine. Please read this article: http://www.atalasoft.com/cs/blogs/rickm/archive/2008/04/22/increasing-the-size-of-your-stack-net-memory-management-part-3.aspx

This will solve many issues. Thanks
