when I execute the command:

engine.EagerEvaluate("cfn_colCumsums <- cfunction(signature(x=""numeric"", r=""integer"",
n=""integer"", out=""numeric""), "" ...C code... "", convention="".C"")")

it returns an ParseExeception as show below:

"RDotNet.ParseException: Error in the application.
   at RDotNet.REngine.Parse(String statement, Int32 statementCount, StringBuilder incompleteStatement)
   at RDotNet.REngine.<Evaluate>d__0.MoveNext()
   at System.Linq.Enumerable.Last[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source)
   at RDotNet.REngine.EagerEvaluate(String statement)

"Error in the application."

The same line of code executed in R envoirment has no problem.

Thanks in advanced,

ParseException means there is a problem with the expression evaluation, and actually means anything could have happened.

You need to look at the error message on the console. It will give a better explanation for the problem.
